Here at First Baptist Church we believe global missions is a Christian responsibility. Our pastor has challenged each and everyone of us to be involved in global missions and have an impact for the Kingdom of God.

We have accepted this challenge and want to see God glorified even more through mission work and endeavors. We are passionate about seeing the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 16-20) fulfilled and desire to take an active role in this command.

• First Baptist has participated in great mission work over the past year and has also been faithful to give to great mission work has well.
• First Baptist has made multiple mission trips to the Mississippi Gulf-Coast to assist in Hurricane Katrina Relief.
• First Baptist has also given generously to mission purposes. We exceeded our Lottie Moon Mission Offering goal by over three thousand dollars, donating over $40,000.00.
  
• First Baptist sent over 175 plus shoe boxes to children across the world during Operation Christmas Child in December.
• Over the years First Baptist has also been a part of starting new churches and assisting new churches in the Greenville, MS area.
• First Baptist is also committed to going wherever God leads to accomplish mission work that will bring glory to His name (Acts 1:8).
