PHASE THREE: GO 

At First Baptist Church, we believe “every member is a minister and a missionary.” As we continue to grow in our faith, we know that the Lord will call us to serve Him in ministry and missions.

 

 

Here’s what we know about “going” where Christ leads:

• Ministry is what we do locally that strengthens other believers.
• Missions are what we do globally to bring others into a relationship with Christ.
• One of the last instructions Jesus’ gave His disciples before ascending into heaven was to “Go and make disciples… of all nations...” (Matthew 28:19-20).
• Sharing our faith with others is an important part of who we are as believers. Through Christ we have strength for living and hope for the future--that’s Good News that must be told!
